My first Dungeon and Dragon's character! I played 4th edition for the first time this year. A special boy even gifted me my own little container of frosted pink dice :] I HAVE MY OWN d20!!!!!! My own FROSTED PINK D20!!!! In addition to a crap ton of other types of dice! Buahahaha even I cannot deny such nerdery.
And here she is. Level 1 Tofupot, the half-elf hunter, and her pet bear L.T.B. (Lethal Teddy Bear). Now I understand how the epic Dragonlance was written...I had never intended to write a backstory for little Tofupot, but in the course of a short D&D session (more like a tutorial session, really), her life story totally flowed out naturally.
THE STORY OF TOFUPOT
Tofupot was an exceptionally bright child, but alas, as an illegitimate union (and a half-breed to boot) Tofupot was deemed unwanted at an early age and abandoned in the forest for dead. She was picked up by a mother bear with her young cub, and grew up a feral child. As she reached her teen years, she left her adoptive mother and built herself a treehouse in the forest area bordering the nearest town, where she sometimes travels to do menial labor in exchange for essential supplies or rations. Despite several offers of permanent room and board in exchange for work, Tofupot always opts to go back to her hand-made treehouse at the end of the day.
Her only manmade possession is her large oriental noodle bowl, which she wears on her head as a form of protection and as a portable container. Unfortunately, her intelligence has not progressed much since her childhood, and she remains at the emotional, rational and maturity level of a young child.
Her "brother" bear cub, nicknamed Teddy Bear, is her constant companion. He is protective of her and hunts for food to feed her, a surprisingly motherly thing for a male bear to do. He doesn't hesitate to swipe-attack anything that he perceives is hurting her, resulting in constantly bloody front paws. After this became somewhat of a common phenomenon, Tofupot upgraded his nickname to L.T.B., or "Lethal" Teddy Bear.

Work is going great still. I ended up remaining as a graphic designer at Cryptic, as they FINALLY found and hired someone who was decent enough to be the Star Trek UI artist. However, I have a large load of UI work to do as a volunteer for Champions Online, and possibly some branching projects as well. It's absolutely wonderful to work at a place where I enjoy the overtime work.
Rock climbing and snowboarding this weekend!!!!!! (two of my new passions) WOOHOOOT!!!!! You'd think I was some kind of athletic person or something :)
P.S. MY SISTER GOT A BOYFRIEND
P.P.S. Tofupot can cast MAGIC MISSILE! Completely useless but how could I pass it up?
