Guh, what just happened? Where has the day gone?
I knew I shouldn't have signed up for that site! :O
ANYWAY. Back from Japan. Was jetlagged. went to old office for potluck at noon today, it was nice (not to have burned any bridges). :) I really miss my old coworkers (save one). He wasn't in today, apparently he's such a big baby he tried to quit and they had to stroke his ego to get him to stay. Now he telecommutes twice a week. I hate him so much.
Japan was AMAZING!!! I had so much fun!! It was also exhausting, and I dropped another 3 lbs while I was there, just in that week. Went to the doctor's on Thursday and it hasn't been regained yet, so I think it might be permanent. Nice. =D Lore wins by dipping under 130 again! Now to keep going......

- staying at the Bellagio
- finding a Best Buy gift card in the hotel room safe with $60+ still on it

Highlights of Tokyo, Japan:
- Hakone onsen (hot springs - all natural! Like in animes!!)
- Akihabara shopping (thank goodness they take Visa and Amex!)
- I think a cute japanese lesbian chick came onto me
- I vaguely recall cuddling up with a cute japanese lesbian chick
- onigiri!!!
- Yamanote-sen (SHINBASHI! me-gu-ro! KOTANDA!-kotanda!) - this animation suddenly makes a ton of sense
- Seeing Judy, Kanako and Howard / travelling with James, Jeff and Kurtis =D
- FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD
- Shinkansen (bullet trains!)
- Harajuku girls (real ones, damn you Gwen Stefani)
- j-shopping for fashion and clothes and gizmos like tiny umbrellas! Shibuya and Shimakitazawa especially
- strong USD!
- MELON PAN and baumkuchen (omg omg omg omg :9 tasty)
- vending machines
- CUTE BATHROOMS AND SINGLE CELL BEDROOMS LOLZ (i don't know WHY, but I love miniature things)
- Gyakuten Saiban orchestra/jazz version soundtracks (Phoenix Wright 1-3) OMG <3 (if you want I can copy it,

I'm sure there are a ton more highlights, mostly because EVERY DAY WAS A HIGHLIGHT. Just a little over 1 week of immersion, and I was pretty much picking up all my old katakana again (and reading simple signs). =D I should go for a whole summer next time.
