At About 3:30 Today
The power goes completely out at DavB. My entire room (I was watching TV and on the computer when both just shut off. I walk out to the hallway, and only the emergency lights are on.
So I do what any good RA would do. I call facilities.
Facilities: Hello, how can I help you?
Me: Hi, so, the power just shut off in the whole building in Davenport B.
Facilities: [15 seconds of silence]... the... whole... building?
Me: Ya, the entire building, the lights in my apartment and in the hallways are off too.
Facilities: Umm... let me call some people and get back to you.
Turns out Columbus Place had a electrical fire and they needed to shut off power to the entire southern campus, but I thought the facilities response was pretty funny.
