...that's how many days until the first college app is due, and until Romeo and Juliet begins.
The latter I have no problems with. Things are going swimmingly. Beyond swimmingly, perhaps. It's ages away. It's all good.
The former, however... Perhaps we best not speak of that.
In other news, I am completely exhausted. Just got back from longsword training, and it was AWESOME. I have the footwork/guards/strikes/deflections/sweeps pretty well learned, so all there is to do now is practice. (There's a whole bunch of moves to do with wrestling, for when you get up close and personal with the opponent, but they're not going to teach me those anytime soon).
Practice involves slapping on a fencing mask, squaring off a small corner of the room with chairs, and trying to hit the other person until your arms turn to jelly and the sweat is turning the inside of your mask into a tropical rainforest. And it is, in one word: AWESOME.
Also, fencing masks may stop the blade actually connecting with your unprotected flesh, but they don't cushion the force from getting stabbed in the face by a heavy sword. Yep.
In other-other news! Library! I begin my Library Sevices Officer training tomorrow, which means I'm working seven-hour weekdays for the next couple of weeks. Huzzah. At least I'll be getting paid for it.
But still! I'm going to explode in a ball of over-worried goo eventually. It won't be pretty.
Damn you college apps! Damn yoooooou!
Oh, and Dell stories. Bastards. Damn them too!
