It's been a busy month.
I neither wrote as much nano as I would've liked, nor got in as much college app progress as I would've liked.
But, I have been working 18+ hours a week at the library, and four nights rehearsing (three actual rehearsals, one is swordfighting training), so I'm fairly happy with the amount I got done.
Now I know not to write a story that I dislike, since all it did was wear me out. 's a good thing to learn.
I have discovered a distinct disadvantage to all these rehearsals and line-learning - the script is so engrained in my brain that it crops up in my thinking every whichway it can. I think it's making me ever so slightly crazier by the day. So if you're talking to me and I randomly spout lines from R&J, that's why.
As for the play itself, it's coming along well. I've gotten my lines near fully-learned (just a couple of bits I need to brush up on for next rehearsal). We've run through the entire thing the last couple of sundays, and, I have to say, it's looking quite awesome.
I consumed a lot of media, both good and bad, hilarious and lame, over the duration of the month. I should probably write reviews for it all, but I'm lazy. Doh. Ah well.
