Subtle Revolution?

Back at home for the weekend to see my sister and go to the Apple Festival.  I was just looking at Amazon to order some books when I saw several of my recommendations were centered on Sustainability, imagine that.  There are a ton of books now!  Most have been printed since 2004, and I think this is all well and good...but I also noticed that a lot of them were on how to "Green your business to Get more Green (money)".  Now if your standard of living really needs more "green" I could be ok with those books, but they seem focused towards businesses that are probably quite well off already.   But again these days I suppose beggars can't be choosers and energy/resources saved are still energy/resources saved regardless of who does it.  I would like to dream that these sustainable sinners will one day be held accountable but for one I'm not that optimistic and two I'm positive everyone reading (and writing) this is guilty too.

School has been all right so far but very very busy.  With the two TA classes I have 21 hours on top of India preparation.  I suppose one day I'll ask myself why I do so much and stayed so relatively alone but then again I suppose one day we'll all ask ourselves why we didn't do more.  Plus Zoology is my only really hard class so it's not that bad.  I've liked hanging out with Taylor, Phillip, Thomas, and the Oak Street crew as always and it's been fun getting to know the freshmen lately.  They seem like a good group so far, not quite so into themselves as alot of freshmen seem to be.  I have hope for this school year.  It will be very different, but growth isn't easy.
