Good to be back
Well I've been back in Boone since Tuesday and I must say it has been fun. Tuesday I had a search committee meeting then a meeting with the study abroad lady. She said she would send in my application by next week then I get a phone interview and I'm going to India. I don't know how I will focus this semester if everything works out. Today I had a meeting with the other Watauga TAs and professors. I am looking forward to that too especially working with Jay. I am now paired up with Joe Moyer as TA because "I'm the smart one and he's the sociable one" as several have already told me. I don't mind this stereotype too much cause I do like Joe a lot and he is quite a bit more "sociable" whatever the hell that means, but I do wish sometimes that I could be considered "sociable" too. Maybe I expect too much out of people, but they are often...well...disapointing. Overall I think this will be a good year and am looking forward to it. Tomorrow I go back to Brevard for just a little bit, then Saturday off to Chapel Hill to help Laura (my sister) move in and hopefully visit with the Chapel Hill kids.
