New car! ill and at work
well, I finally have my new car. It's nice to have a set of wheels again. I can't believe the one school boy error I appear to have made though. The passenger elec window doesn't work. I swear I checked every piece of electrics on that car before buying, but somehow I've missed the really obvious. Ah well, live and learn. It can wait for a while before being fixed, it'll have to while my finances recover.
I'm also ill and at work. It feels like flu - everything aching and eyelids you can cook eggs on. I wouldn't be at work at all except for 2 things
1) I had to get the work car back to the office, cos other people need it tonight.
2) I am ridiculously behind on my work. I just don't seem to have any focus at the moment.
what I'd really like to do is just curl up in a corner and sleep, but I can't get a lift home til Dom finishes training tonight :-S
Looks like I'll probably miss the Welsh - can't see myself being capable by the weekend.
