Halloween weekend
Halloween and time to party. With Dom and nymphish moved in, the house has been feeling lived in, this weekend it was feeling packed, as barwench_tanya et al came to stay.
Saturday was the first time trying out "Legends", as Cuba Cuba is no more (shock horror), having become "Crash" and now playing R&B (eugh). This seems to have been a rather foolish move, as there were over 1000 in Legends on saturday. Fortunately Little Jeff has also gone to Legends, so we all felt at home.
Getting there took long enough - we managed to watch the entire of Van Helsing while the girls got ready (really - what do they do with all that time?)
Getting in took a while too. Fortunately "In Queue" entertainment was provided by one punter in a spidey outfit who decided to climb the side of the building. Actually he was a really good climber - seriously impressive, and yet scarey too. As if spiderman wasn't enough entertainment, then there are always the lovely women we bring with us. Danny was looky very seductive (and slightly dominatrix) in her fantastic new boots: total height addition 6" - she's taller than me with them on. Cue inferiority complex 1. And then there's Tanya. She *still* insists on being 5'11" and those WOMD that she insists on calling heels. Oh, and *that* dress that makes her so.... Still, all makes for great eye candy.
It's the first time I've met Andy, Mat and Naill, people that Nymphish talks about all the time. They are great guys, and just as geeky as the rest of us! They did seem to be very scared of Legends though. Maybe not quite their scene. It was a bit packed to be fair, and we weren't really up and rocking as much as usual. Still, much dancing, and flirting as might be expected and I have a reall sore neck now, which is probably from rockin away....probably...
It was such a good night - I reckon I probably enjoyed it most, but then it did go rather better than anticipated... I think everyone had a good time (and much beer), but much sympathy to Nymphish as those wonderful boots became just too much to bear after a couple of hours - ah the price of vanity ;)
When we got back to mine there was more beer and films, noisy films, but somehow I just wasn't in the mood for watching them...
