The first attempt at playing was a wonderful learning experience: tactical squad against two squads of 10 boyz.  While I think my opponent held back a bit for the sake of learning the rules, the skirmish was certainly entertaining and allowed for a good grasp of the game.

GI Joe movie cast photos are up. Not what I was expecting, and not in a bad way. I assumed it would hark back to the cartoon days of yor. Instead for anyone who has seen Sigma 6 the costume feel is alot like that. Probably less hokey for live action.

Best of all Darth Maul/Headless horseman is in it as none other than ....

I may not be able to do a better job, but I can certainly point out other people's faults to make it look like I am. 

Only takes 22 minutes to bike to work, driving is usually 10-15.  Only problem is legs = jelly and lugs are soggy deflated balloons :(

At Home: Looks like it's going around again.  It's late winter, we have all been couped up for months in doors and here it is.  My mother got pneumonia, dad has what is sounding like bronchitis and my wife seems to be coming down with a cold/flu.  This doesn't even include the myriad of people at work who I have had to cover for who have called in ( Read more... )
