Hmm, I haven't updated in awhile. Well lots of things have happened, but you know how when lots of little things happen it's hard to write them down? Well anyway, I don't really feel like typing everything that's happened, so here are some funny conversations I've had from the last couple of weeks...
Natalie:{To me while thinking about her next move in Scrabble} Hmm...If I can spell "sex" would you give it to me?
Alicia: ...What?

Alicia: He's white?
Andrew: No, he's African American.
Alicia:...An African American Englishman?
Andrew:...yeah...

Natalie:{Whilte talking about the kickball game she played during math} Yeah, I just couldn't catch David's balls...

Ricarda: What don't you understand in your German class?
Alicia: The grammar changes all the time, I can never figure out if I'm structuring my sentences right. But at least it's easy to spell. That's why I didn't take French.
Ricarda: Why? French is not hard to spell.
Alicia: Yes it is.
Ricarda: It's no harder than English.
Alicia: Who said I could spell in English?
Ricarda: ...Americans...
Alicia: I get the difference between formal and informal though.
Ricarda: Like what?
Alicia: Like du vs. Sie.
Ricarda:...do...do what?
Alicia:...du...as in you.
Ricarda:...oh...yeah...
Alicia: And you call yourself German...
