Happy Mother's Day!
Yay, it's mother's day.
Hm, what did I do all week?
I can't really remember everything, but I remember my orchestra's being stupid and I'm kind of upset at them (not individuals, just the whole thing in general). Oh well, I know it'll get better.
And we're doing Oliver next year! yay! You guys have no idea, musicals are so much fun. But I am SOOOOOO seeing it from the front this time. I got stuck in every show during Fiddler (the downside of being an unusual instrument) and I don't care what anyone says I'm seeing it ONCE.
Yesterday I babysat, and it was the most fun I've had in awhile. First, we went outside to their backyard and discovered spit bug nests. Have you ever seen a spit bug? I'd never seen them down here, but when I lived in Federal Way they were all over the place. Anyway, they'd never seen them, so I educated them about spit bugs.
Then we went inside and built a fort. Not just your ordinary fort, this was the biggest fort I've ever built. It took up their entire living room with kitchen chairs and about eight sheets. Then, as it was getting dark, we turned off all the lights and went inside with only a flashlight. We took turns telling scary stories (Which always had to do with dead people for some reason...I wasn't the one who started that...)and then made shadow puppets. Oh my God it was so much fun!!!
When we came out, I realized it was ten minutes past their bed time. Oh well...
