Despite Lion-o's best efforts, Halloween hadn't really taken off on Third Earth. So when Lion-o got an email from Portalocity about large discounts on portals to Iowa, he jumped at the chance. After all, Halloween was probably the only time he could visit a place outside Fandom and not have people stare at him.
He brought WileyKat and WileyKit with him, too, since he realized that he needed to introduce trick-or-treating to more Thunderians if he was going to establish it as a regular holiday. And of course Snarf had to tag along to keep an eye on them. Also, Snarf would never turn down free candy.
