(no subject)
So I told myself that I wasn’t going to write or think about writing yesterday, but I only succeeded at failure (well, at least at the “thinking about writing” part). I thought about what I wrote regarding Shikaku yesterday, and I re-watched Naruto ep. 110, which is where Shikaku and Shikamaru have their little discussion about troublesome women and how they’ll show their kind side to the man they love.
Putting aside that it’s not much more than luke-warm sentimentality, it gave me an idea to search out two new fanfic pairings/plots.
The Shikaku x Temari
O.O’, right? I know Shikaku is about 40, but I’m in my 20s and I don’t consider it that unreasonable. There’s something about an older guy, anyway, and maybe Temari wants to try it out? Maybe? There is the “problem” of Yoshino. Don’t get me wrong, I love her and thank her cartoon uterus for giving birth to the sehehehexy character that is Shikamaru. I also applaud her taste in men, which is why I don’t want to kill her off and make it some “Oh, I’ve lost my wife”, “Oh, Shikamaru dumped me”, “Boo-hoo”, squeaka-squeaka deal (whispers: squeaka-squeaka being the onomatopoeia for ...tee-hee!... secks). I hate to say it, but I think I want my ShikakuTema fic to have Yoshino still in it. Maybe he feels she wronged him or pissed him off in some way, but I don’t want it to develop into some relationship, just a fuck-on-the-fly. I think the dynamic would be awesome, too, if Temari was still involved with Shikamaru at the time so they’re both cheating on someone... once. I don’t want to paint them as sluts or anything, either. Damn I’m picky. I want to find it, though. If I can’t find it, I might have to write it and I don’t need any more of that right now. Grrr.
The Shikaku x Yoshino where-it-all-began type business
Yeah, I’m sure this exists somewhere. This isn’t a new thought (I even talked about it yesterday), but I haven’t been able to find anything like it on adultfanfiction.net. I guess I’ll have to try fanfiction.net since it has a better search function. I didn’t know, but I guess Yoshino was a chunin at some point. I find that really interesting. I’m wanting them to meet in the academy or something. Maybe have a relationship that mirrors ShikaTema? That could be good... I’ll have to remember to look for them after I get out this KakaSaku nonsense.
I came across a two new pairings today (well, new for me):
Kankuro x Kiba and Shino x Kiba . I dunno... I like them. That is all.
Still, isn’t KakaIru the best? So unoriginal, I know, but everytime I read or write it I feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I’m usually really open-minded about everything, but I just don’t understand how some people don’t like that pairing. It’s amazing.
I didn’t write today at all, but I need to start up again. I’m gonna write out a roadmap of my story so far by tomorrow or Monday. *Sigh* Even breaks don’t feel like breaks sometimes.
