Bad News
The St. Pete and Orlando Esthero shows are canceled. Sorry, Emily.
She is still playing in Ft. Lauderdale *fingers crossed*, and there is a rumor that she is playing in Jacksonville. I emailed the place where she is supposedly performing in Jacksonville, and asked them if the show was still on. I haven't heard from them yet, but I hope I get good news. They have her listed on their website. If that show is still going to happen, then I will go to that one. Otherwise, I am going to Ft. Lauderdale. I'm not missing her.
Oh, here is more good news, but it's not related to any shows; It's geeky Photoshop stuff. Recently, I have been talking about how I need to get my New York project enlarged, and my former Photography teacher mentioned this one place, and all that shit. Well, yesterday, I called the place, and they said they have this software that will enlarge my image without doing any scanning. Originally, I was under the impression that I needed to find a place that had a drum-scanner which can scan at enormous resolutions so you can print at huge sizes. I was supposed to drop off a CD with my project on it at this place before 5. Since I'm going to Coldplay tonight, and I woke up around 2:30, I didn't want to go out of my way to get ready just to go to this place. I'd rather wait later to get ready before the show. I think this was all meant to be because I started looking for this software that enlarges photos. I found out that it's not really software all to itself. You can actually download a simple plug-in for Photoshop that does this. Of course, it's about a $200 plug-in, but they had a 30 day trial, and I got that. In conclusion, I just enlarged my image to 52"x36" at my own house fo' FREE!!! It took a looong time (about 45 minutes). I'm going to email my teacher, and tell her about this plug-in. She came in my class, last night, and I told her about how I was going to that place. She wanted me to ask the people at this place about the software they used so she could try to get it at the school. I think she will be happy with this plug-in news.
