why haven't I been updating?
Had a pretty good week. Nicole crashed some friends' road trip to come see me. Saw a bizarro movie called Lady Vengeance (rental) with Becca and company on Sunday and then spent the evening playing X-Men legends with Andrew and Joey again. I'm more and more sure that Andrew and I would have been friends if he'd gone to my high school, or at least would have been in the same circle of friends.
Speaking of high schools, it turns out my boss also went to my high school, Terra Linda H.S. in San Rafael. In fact, she used to live on Miller Creek road, not far from my old house. We know all the same haunts around San Rafael and Terra Linda. It was odd, but fun, to reminisce with someone about high school who graduated before I was born. Go Trojans!
Wednesday, had fantastic time at pool. It has rarely been that much fun since the days Maureen was still around. Becca's Dan, who she broke up with a few weeks ago, was there. It was really cool that the friend thing is working for them, cause I still enjoy hanging out with the guy. Ruza was also there, and delightful as always. And Dan and Ruza's friend Ben, who has come before. Tracy came too and intends to become a regular. Lastly, a third Dan showed, which may be too much. Fortunately these other two Dans have nicknames.
If only Gabe was in town and Nicole was in town and 21, it would have been perfect.
