Was pretty much the entirety of the conversation.

Well, the tutor said, 'if you don't pass resits, you can retake the year.'

At which point we both laughed hollowly. The odds of that are kinda similar to the odds of being me run over while crossing the street. By Elvis. Driving the Batmobile. Made of winning lottery tickets.

That's what's giving me problems still, but the situation's looking better than it has in a while.

Given my past history, I suspect I may be able to pull something out of my hat. (Which is a particularly tasteless hat, being a large deathrocker stetson. At least it has capaciousness on its side.)

Postage not needed -- if I'd been less tardy on the Sunday, I'd probably have been able to hunt you down and return it directly.

Pancakes.. now that brings back rather hazy memories. Synapses are definately firing, but they don't appear to be doing so in any kind of useful pattern. ;)
