Zzz...
Been running myself around for the past few days: our DM can't make it for this Sunday, so I've agreed to step in and provide a one-shot campaign. It ought to be interesting, but dreaming up the setting for it in such a limited amount of time hasn't been fun. I'm almost done, mind you, but... I just hope that the end result is worth the time.
Speaking of time, I've also spent quite a bit of it just making the room looking spiffy (which it is, actually.) Finally cracked open that copy of Metroid Prime, and am on the planet's surface (got the missile launcher and the ball upgrade,) but can't play it right now due to Wayne playing his Grandia 2.
...and let me just go on record by saying that the last time you get Millenia's contrivance is one of the worst betrayals of player trust and continuity that I've experienced for a long time. It almost made me cry, it was so bad. *sighs*
But anyway, I've been playing the insomnia game, staying up all night (when I seem to do my best creative work) to sleep during the day. I know, bad habit, and I've played this game before, but... I think I might go ahead and go to sleep, while I'm still capable of forming coherent thoughts. *nods*
