I actually got in the pool tonight. Nightswimming FTW. Actual physical activity! Of course now I'm DEAD tired, but still. I did something! Despite lack of blood. Go me.
Day 06 - Favorite episode of your favorite TV show
Nggggh. This is so hard. Part of what makes Firefly what it was is the fact that it's a very complete show with no really horrible episode, or even a very blah one. I think for me, it comes down to Objects in Space, or Out of Gas. And I think I'll go with Out of Gas.
Out of Gas showed us how the crew came together, and demonstrated the relationship between Mal and Serenity the best, as well as the dynamics of the crew. It was a very Mal episode, which is probably WHY I love it so much. I adore the entire crew, but I am a Mal girl at heart.

I also forgot to mention that we went and saw Prince of Persia and Ironman II, I think.
I seriously spent the entirety of Prince of Persia thinking how annoying some of those jump sequences would be to play out in a game. (I never actually played the Prince of Persia game). But Jake was very pretty, and it was reasonably entertaining.
Ironman was pretty good, but
I felt like they went with "shrill" instead of competent for Pepper for the sake of showing us how crazy Tony was. I loved their relationship in the first one, and I felt like in this one, it suffered. There was no real reason for Scarlett's character to be there that I could find, and she wasn't used enough to make her worthwhile. Though girl was rocking that outfit.
Don was a HUGE step up as Rhodey. The scenes where Tony is being Tony were fantastic - him building his machine for the new element, the drunken Ironman dancing. The Military hearing was hilarious, despite being ridiculous. But I missed the Pepper/Tony from the first movie. So yeah, fun, but too much fighting and blowing shit up, and a little hit and miss with the interactions between them. I liked Rhodey and his relationship most of the time, and I really enjoyed Happy.
