& that, ladies & gentlemen, is why people like me should not venture into the sun-- especially for prolonged periods of time. Even if it is a helluva lot of fun.
So I went on my first boat this weekend. Seriously. At least, it's the first boat that I remember going on... my mam informs me that I've been on one prior, but I s'pose that doesn't count. As stated previously, it was a lot of fun. Slugger, Lindsey, Dave, Jake, Laurel & I all ventured out to Lake Conroe for a time of well-mannered frivolity (yes, I am quoting from a Harry Potter movie, suck my cock). The waves were choppy, the boat was fast, I was cute & so were my two younger cousins. No swimming, though-- water was far too cold. But I got to drive & that was really feckin' awesome.
But before all of that, I went out to my grandparents house for the annual Texas Crawfish festival. Sadly, though... I forgot to get crawfish. That & I felt nauseous all damn day.
I'm too tired to write anything else.
