Ouch. That really put a damper on my already miserable day/week/year.

But not really. & I won't comment on her comment because, well, that would just be tacky. Right? Right. But I do hope she's happy wriTTing about her vampires. Maybe she even spells it with a 'y' instead of an 'i'. Who knows?

Anyway, that was pointless. Back to things more important (myself). I received a seven on my latest timed write which, all things considered, I'm pretty gosh darned happy with. Not showing up for first period English at all this week? I'm happy with whatever I can get-- & getting a B is nothing to turn my nose up at.

Speaking of English, just started reading The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver &, so far, I really like it. Page five, beginning of book one, & I absolutely fell in love with the line, "This forest eats itself and lives forever." I read this while sitting outside of Starbucks (yuck) & was in awe for a good three minutes. So simple, & yet so powerful. I most definitely plan on enjoying this book over a good bottle of whiskey.

What else-- uhm, Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows is available for pre-sale on Amazon.com? Chyeah. Done. Could I be a bigger nerd... it's the last book, man. What the hell am I going to do with me life after that? Of course, I'm not one of those people who dresses up as the characters & fantasizes about having relations with them (although I've always had a massive boner for Alan Rickman), but I am a fan. I must say it. I've been reading the series since the 6th grade, & that's really when I got into reading, when I really started to enjoy books. Gah! This must have been what it felt like when the Beatles break-up was nigh.

Maybe I shouldn't compare Harry Potter to the Beatles...
