A quick update, because I need to go to bed.
- I worked Monday and today, and am working Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, all 8-hour days. On the plus side, I won't have to work again until after my vacation. And happily, today I got a schedule.
- Read a really cool book today called 'Calculating God.' Basically it's about a paleontologist who bonds with an alien, who's come to Earth with a few more of her species and some of a different intelligent species. The palentologist is an evolutionist, but the aliens believe in God, and are astounded that he doesn't realize that all the scientific evidence points to a Creator. The aliens don't believe in souls or religion, really, but they are definitely certain about God. Definitely a good book. And full of lots of science, too! So Sara and Maria, I recommend this to both of you -- two very different people, lol, but the science would appeal to Sara and the aliens who believe in God would interest Maria. :)
- Driver's test is Friday. Lindsay took me around some of the routes tonight, it was good times. I miss just hanging out with my friends. :( But it was great to see her again tonight, and very good to see a few more of the routes for the driver's test. Please please please let me pass this time....
- Maria and I are going to DDR, eventually. But it's all work, work, work, right now. We shall see what's what.
