Goodbye, Grandpa.
I was at work today, putting away slides, when my phone rang. It was Mom.
Grandpa passed away this morning.
I don't really have much time to write right now.... But I'm doing okay, and even if I'm not, I'll have Ben there to help me out. I'm just glad now that Grandpa isn't suffering any more. No more pain, no more morphine, no more labored breathing, no more delusions. I'm sure now, wherever he is, that he's at rest.
And really, that's what's important.
