It's (almost) my birthday!

For everyone who doesn't know, I will be turning 21 Saturday, October 1st. As such, we need to have a grand ol' celebration. Or several celebrations, rather. Here's the plan:

Friday night: Ben and I will have ourselves a romantic dinner, or something. I don't know, we don't really do traditional dating stuff so much... but we'll figure something out. :-P At midnight, my 21-year-old friends will take me to the Ram for my first drink (while Ben, being 20, will stay at Sara & Shannon's playing Shannon's Sonic the Hedgehog video games, lol), and then we'll come back to the apartments and I'll have second or third drinks while we all play 1000 Blank White Cards, lol. I am curious to see how I act under the influence of alcohol; my prediction is that I will be a mixture of schmoopy, sleepy, and giggly. Oh -- and if you want to give me a present and are over 21 (Sara, Shannon, Laurel, Wendy, Jamie, Mariah, Brian) or are Ben, Friday night would be good for that, but you don't have to get me anything. I'm often pretty crappy when it comes to presents, so I won't be crushed if you feel your money/time would be better spent on survival. Or liquor. LOL, whatever.

Saturday night: Blazing Whosits and Co. are going out to Wunderland Saturday night, and so the younger folk (Sarah, Daniel, anyone else I'm forgetting) can say Happy Birthday to me then, if they so desire. :) And Saturday morning I may help folks clean up the Mill Stream, yay!

Next weekend: Portland friends, I will be in Portland next weekend, so Mary, Chris, Alicia, Andy, Andrea, and Stephanie (whom I should call), plus anyone else I may be forgetting, we should all get together. Sadly Lindsay and Tom will be out of town, and Maria is of course at Oxford, but I daresay we can still get down. I'll know the exact day once Mom figures out when the family birthday party is.

Woohoo! Almost 21! Not that I really plan on drinking often, but it'll be fun to get tipsy once or twice, methinks.
