Here are some random pictures from our trip to the zoo a few weekends back (me and t3h Ben and Ben's parents). There was a picture of me poking a statue of a badger with a vaguely spoon-shaped stick, but Richie accidentally deleted it off my camera! ;_; So you'll have to make do with these ones.
Ben chortles at the small child depicted on the sign being startled by a very large exclamation point. He doesn't much like being in pictures, but I cow him with my womanly charms most of the time. ;)
An Amur leopard relaxes in the shade, stretching out luxuriously.
A lorikeet chirps at us in a friendly manner.
The chickens may not have large talons, but the peacocks certainly do.
A shy vulture stares wide-eyed at the camera, not understanding what all this attention is about.
Impala? Antelope? Deer? I don't actually know what this little fellow is called.
The Oregon Zoo's meerkats are significantly plumper than Timon.
Ibis ibis ibis. Or perhaps this one is a crane, I don't remember....
Ben doing his very best California condor impression (admittedly under slight duress from me *wink*). His wingspan is rather more impressive than mine.
Whee!
