It's 4 AM, but what the hell.
You know, after NaNoWriMo is done, and I've either failed miserably or succeeded spectacularly, to give myself a break I think I'ma gonna go through and rework a lot of my old X-Files fanfic, just for my own benefit. A few of the stories are embarrassing the whole way through, but most of them have a lot of promise, and some are actually quite good. I went through and reread most of them tonight (I am definitely a vignette girl) and yeah, they were pretty decent for a sixteen-year-old. Some are so fluffy it hurts, and some are relatively juvenile in the dialogue and narrative (just because it's damn hard for a sixteen-year-old girl to write forty-year-old men and women properly), but some of them hit the nail right on the head, and I'm pretty proud of that. So yeah. A fun project to cleanse myself of NaNo so that I can go back to working on it with a good break in between. Good, good times. :)
