The week that was...
Hi all,
I started with my standard starting line, "It has been a long time since I updated this and blah, blah, blah...." but then decided to delete it, and then decided to retain it, but in this format.
Finally I have managed to hit the production floor here. We (the new joinees) get a plenty of down time. I spend most of it on the LJ even if I don't update my entries.
Today is Friday nite and I get to meet Aks after a long break up. We have decided to watch Da Vinci Code and Fanaa to celebrate our coming together again. I feel my life gets pretty much messed up when me and Aks are not on talking terms. But when we come together, life begins to sail smoothly again.
Yesterday was pay day. So, today I am going to make her feel like a princess. I hope it turns out good enough and/or we don't end up having another fight. I won't let her pay for anything. I think that will mellow her down a bit. I hope she finds the same old Mayank in me today that she is so fond of. Let's hope that the date goes off well. I don't know how to put my feelings in words but I am so excited as well as nervous about our meeting in the afternoon. I am keeping my fingers crossed. I have met her several times before but today seems to be something special. I didn't have jitters like these even on our first date. God! help me today.
