Aargh! Over a month since writing. Many things happening, much to say, and almost all of it good. Too bad.
Having gotten that out of my system, I have a very good story to tell. That'll have to wait, like everything else.
The end of the story is that I started work today at Pentax Imaging in Golden. One week to the day since I interviewed there. Six weeks of total dead silence, then bang! everything happens at once.
As with anything, the story has a mix of the good, the bad, and the ugly, although I really have been spared in the ugly department. But the job itself appears to be pretty much unadulterated good -- other than the commute to Golden. And even that's not so bad, becaused the Front Range is just so bloody incredibly beautiful.
However, I didn't sleep much last night, and I spent a bit of the evening unblocking the pipe out of the garbage disposal (*clunk* *clunk* dig-dig-dig *whoooooosh* gurgle-gurgle.... yechhhh) so I'm going to bed now. Good night.
