Pretty day
From what I've seen of it, which isn't much.
I've watched my morning version of "Starting Over" which has been a great show for me. I'm now watching the third season for the second time. Unfortunately, I was nearing the end of the first viewing of Season Two when we went camping. I had religiously programmed the VCR to tape the programs while I was away. However, there was a power outage and somehow, none of the shows got taped. And when I got back, we're back into seeing Season Three again. Grump!
I've been thoroughly enjoying playing with the specialty yarns that I bought in Lake Placid. The poncho made of recycled silk is finished and it's, oh so luscious. Love it! Now I'm working on a Mobius scarf/shawl with something called Firecracker which is a combination of three threads - a clumpy, multi-coloured yarn, a metallic and an eyelash. The result is also wonderfully luscious. However!!! I have maybe enough yarn to make one-third of the scarf. So I'm calling the store in Lake Placid to see if they can get more of what I bought. They don't have any in the store but will see if the company that supplied it has any. They'll call me back today or tomorrow. [Fingers crossed]
Pain is subsiding slowly ....... I hope. FWS says I look peaceful and open this morning and that's good. However, there's still lots of leg, back and chest pain. Just took some extra drugs and am hoping to knock the pain out for at least the next few hours.
We may go fishing tonight. That would be so nice - for me, fishing is more of a meditation than anything else and would be great on a soft summer's night. Hope it manages to happen.
