It sure seemed like a curse to me, when you consider the frequency of...passionate entries that occurred on the same day.

I hadn't realized there were transporters leading to the beach.

Da, that is what I thought also.

It's how I got into the City without having to go through the woods. Apparently there are lots of monsters in there.

For some reason, yes. I would've thought it would be in better condition, but I guess not. Though I don't mind--it gives me more work to do.
