Private Journal//off the network

This place is quite curious. The more I am here, the more I wonder what is powering it; what makes this city run. What sort of technology could they have, or what sort of science could they have discovered that allow these deities to simply pluck people from their own worlds and not only bring them here, but keep them here. Not to mention all the fantastical creatures in the zoo, and those doors that act as a transport...There is much to be explored in this City.

Insofar, these curses that I have been told about have not been too bad. They've been the causes of minor violence, but according to this guide, it seems that those injured or killed while under the influence of these curses then come back to life. I am not sure whether that is comforting or frightening--to die and then wake up the next morning wholly alive. Yet this guide also states that if one dies in the City, they will not be able to get home. How would you go about distinguishing between the two?

Aside from that, in the City now from the Enterprise are Captain Kirk, Commander Spock, Lieutenant Uhura, Doctor McCoy, and Lieutenant Commander Scott, and myself, of course. I am currently rooming with the Captain, the Doctor, and Monty (Mister Scott informed me that I could call him as such), though it seems lately that the Captain has been looking for a place nearby, rather than with all of us. Commander Spock and Lieutenant Uhura are also in a nearby apartment.

It is odd...I spotted Commander Spock in the market place today, however, when I called out to him, he did not respond. I am certain I was loud enough to be heard, even with the crowd...though I could not reach him before said crowd, how do you say...swallowed him up. Could he just not hear me? Did he choose to not-no, no, that is not it. ...is it?

I am I’ve been to the zoo at least twice now-once with Kitty, and the second time with the Doctor and Monty. It is so odd to see dinosaurs and dragons and unicorns and other fantastical creatures in such a place, but also very exciting. It makes me wonder what other sorts of things could be possibly brought here.

I have also gotten a job working for the Earl Phantomhive at the Phantomhive Manor. It is difficult work-a lot of manual labor. But I don’t mind it...it will help us to pay for the apartment, food, and clothing that we need. Also it could possibly contribute to parts we may need in order to escape from this place. The shuttle craft that the Captain apparently arrived in the City on is still here; we could possibly use it to facilitate an escape.

On the whole, this City needs more looking into, as well as the clock beneath it. I’ve also noticed that, in fact, when alone, there is a steady ticking noise that would surely drive a person insane if heard for too long. I hope that I will never be left alone here for too long.

Private Journal Entry end

People sure can be outspoken because of their beliefs, can't they? That was just a bit extreme, though. Another curse?

Also, I am curious if anyone other than Mister Scott and myself know much about transporter theory? I am curious about the ones used to get to the beach.

[ooc: that entire private entry is in Russian XD Just FYI]

uhura, mccoy, mr. scott, kitty, kirk, dinosaurs in the zoo, transporter theory, aftermath, curse day, spock, beliefs, not affected
