peace at last
Well after all the hooplah with family visiting and visa-filling-outing, things are finally starting to calm down in these parts. It was great seeing Michael, and we saw all kinds of amazing things (though I had previously seen a lot of it with my parents). Highlights of the trip included seeing the majestic Milford Sound, partying it up and Queenstown and climbing part of a mountain at Mt Cook. I think Michael is going to make a website of his and my parents’ trip out here, so I’ll post the link once he makes it.
After Michael left last week I started scrambling to finish my visa application for Australia, since I want to send it out soon. Today I finally have it all finished, which is a BIG weight off my shoulders. Now I have to sit and hold my breath to see if it is approved. But there’s nothing I can do about it for now, so at least I can chill out a bit before the whole moving to a new country process starts. That is, if my visa is approved....
