Amsterdam and others
Britt and I had a great time in Amsterdam the weekend before last, 'twas very enjoyable indeed and we'd both definitely like to go back there again. Highlights of our trip included: the Heineken Experience, the Van Gogh Museum, a boat tour along the canals and the Anne Frank House.
Last Saturday we met up with a few friends in The Ram in Kingston: Cath & Andy's wedding plans are moving along nicely but they know they've got a fair bit of organising to do before the big day in November. Pete, Aaron and Meg were also there and they're all doing well too.
This weekend has been fairly quiet, Brittany and I did a bit of shopping in Kingston yesterday, though it was insanely busy... Primark was the final straw! Haha! Watched the FA Cup Final at home yesterday afternoon, it was possibly the most boring Cup final I've ever seen (and there are a few in recent years across all competitions that take some beating). Thankfully there's the excitement of the play-off finals next weekend that should finish the domestic football season on an entertaining high... though I think certain Arsenal players thought that the season finished in early March!
Brittany is at rehersal this afternoon so I'm over at my parents' to keep myself amused. My brother's girlfriend came over with her rabble of four dogs, which was quite amusing; they were running about all over the place, panting, drooling, shedding hair... I kinda miss having a dog. :-)
