"Are you on drugs?" Jensen asks. He sounds actually concerned, which makes Jared feel like shit.
"What?" asks Jared. "No. Why would I be on drugs?"
"Let's see, you're exhausted all the time, you never want to hang out anymore, you're talking to your dogs way more and acting like they're going to answer--do I need to go on?"
"I just have a lot going on right now," Jared mumbles, which he guesses is better than my talking dogs told me it was my destiny to find the moon princess and save the world from evil, and I have to spend most of my nights crossdressing and using my magical powers. If he was going to tell anyone, it would be Jensen, but he's not really sure he can do it. Besides, stuff has felt kind of weird with Jensen ever since he started meeting that mysterious masked guy at night; he figured getting over his crush on Jensen would make things better, but mostly he's now lusting over two guys who are never going to be into him. Which is awesome.
But then Jensen gives him this look, halfway between love and heartbreak, and says, "Jared, man, you know you can tell me anything, don't you?"
"I know," Jared says, instantly. "It's just--man, I don't even know where to start."
"Well, when you're ready, I'll be here," Jensen says.
"Yeah," says Jared. "I know."
And if his life ever stops sounding totally batshit crazy, he's totally going to tell Jensen all about it. Really.
Although Sailor Moon's secret identity might have been harder to guess if she'd actually been a man (shut up, Sailor Stars). And I can just see Jensen swanning around being all cryptic and rose-throwing.
