Gen has never had an omega hit on her before, but Danneel Harris doesn't really seem like a typical omega. She's on the tall side, gorgeous and confident, with a mischievous smile and a pretty amazing body. Gen laughs. Danneel picked her up at a club the other night, asked if she wanted to get coffee. There had been enough smells that Gen hadn't realized she was an omega. It's surprising, but--well, she still seems cool. "I've never been here before. You suggested it, remember?"
Danneel laughs too. "Okay, fine, my pickup line totally didn't work." She looks at Gen over her coffee mug. "I know you want to ask, so you might as well?"
"Ask what?" asks Gen, feigning innocence.
"Why I asked you out."
Gen leans back. "Well, now that you mention it..."
Danneel laughs. "You're cute, you know that?" She takes a sip of her coffee. "I got my first heat when I was sixteen, and I tried the whole knotting thing, but--I dunno. It wasn't for me, I guess. Then, in college, my roommate was in heat at the same time I was, and we were both single, and--man. We just had sex the whole weekend, it was amazing." She stretches. "I dunno. I know I'm supposed to be all about getting knotted and bred, but there's something about having another omega, just as hot and desperate and horny as you are."
Gen swallows, because--yeah, the idea isn't exactly bad. "So you asked me out?"
"So I asked you out. And you said yes, so I guess you aren't against dating omegas."
Gen could explain about her misunderstanding, the whole I couldn't tell you were an omega thing, but--Danneel is really hot, and Gen's a little curious. "Yeah," she agrees. I'm definitely not."
