Sam/Dean Pre-Stanford with Sam around 16-17. The boys get to be "open" in public when John isn't there and the town doesn't know that they're brothers.
"Deeeeeeeeean," Sam wheedles. It's not exactly unfair, because Dean can resist it when he wants to. It's mostly unfair because he never really wants to. "Come on."
"Saaaaaaaaaam," Dean says, his voice a pitch-perfect imitation. "No. Who cares?"
"I care."
"Why? Dude, what does it matter if we go out in public holding hands or whatever? Don't tell me you want to go on dates with me."
"Nah," says Sam, and it's so casual that Dean's actually surprised.
"No?" he asks. "You don't want that?" Sam's kind of a girl; Dean figured he wanted to go on some stupid date where they ended up eating the same piece of spaghetti and making out, or whatever
