Jared finds Christmas to be the worst time of year, because it used to be his favorite. Growing up, it was always perfect. His parents let them open one present on Christmas Eve, before midnight mass, and then the rest Christmas morning, in a huge mess of bows and laughter and fun. They had a big brunch with his grandparents and then more presents, and ham for dinner
