As my summer whittles itself down to a close, I am taking a few moments to appreciate how monumental it has been.
It has been pretty fucking monumental. Activities have included:
-laying to bed two longtime obsessions.
-spending two months with fuck-all to do in one of the most beautiful places in the world.
-reclaiming my lifelong goal to be an Elizabethan man.
-catching up with an old friend (Hiya, Kate!), an ocean away from where we met.
And still to come:
-the possible acquisition of my driving license not two days hence
-a definite expedition of driving in the company of the inimitable Ms. Lola P.
-longawaited reunion with Chicagoans old and new
I may not be ready for what comes after, but senior year I'm prepared to take on.
