Hurrah!
Not being made redundant! Hurrah! But still going for interview for a pharm tech at the local mental health unit anyway. Ended up in Devon this weekend seeing the parents. And the other billions of relatives I seem to have amalgamated. Ra!
Did go to the Farnborough Exeter match on Monday and strangely enough, Farnborough lost. I lost my voice in the process. Grr!
Thinking of retraining as a plumber, or electrician or something practical. Will have to think about it.
Anyway - questions!
1) If football clubs are generally not financially viable, why do so many exist?
2) Just found out a story about a young lady who was being sick (a bit drunk) and a group of guys approaching her to stick a part of their anatomy in her mouth and videophone it. Allegedly to be posted on the web somewhere. Is this a widespead practice?
3) Can Benecol give you a dodgy windy stomach?
4) Does the Pope sound a little like Darth Vader at the moment or is that being blasphemous?
5) How rude was Fingersmith the other night?
And of course my music
1) The Clint Boon Experience - chappie out of the Inspiral Carpets strikes gold with a wonderful album, with very clear drug references (white, no sugar)
2) Ike and Tina Turner - the most amazing Motown ever ever. Ever. She rocks. None of the eighties stuff, cos that aint so good, but Nutbush City Limits area. Forced to listen to it on the way back from Exeter.
3) Kaiser Chiefs - judging by the album they have very little respect for Women, or they are gay. Just can't work it out..
4) The Subways - I will harp on about them again - the new single 'Oh Yeah' is blooming amazing.
A couple to avoid
1) New Order new album - utterly boring.#
2) The Ramones - one song yeah, an entire album zzzzzzzzzz.
