It just gets better
Hello. First of all did not get job cos they changed the job spec the day after I was interviewed. Rats.
Two, have managed to contract 'flu and was in bed for 5 days as felt so pants.
But on the up side I am going to see Mum at the weekend, Still working in the Western Wear Shop and still have my flat.
Music to look out for
1) Bloc Party. All of it.
2) Art Brut - very silly band, the lead singer is scrummy, a bit Red like.
3) Charlotte Hatherley (her out of Ash) - the album is top
4) LCD Soundsystem - Daft Punk are Playing at My House particularly.
5) Teardrop Explodes first album, yeah baby yeah!
6) Mooney Suzuki - Alive and Amplified
7) 50ft Wave - Kristin Hersh of Throwing Muses fame new band
8) The Subways - produced by him out of Lightning Seeds, same label as the Zutons
9) DJ Format and Abdominal - just cos I am going to see them and they hipity hop big style!
10) Brian Wilson from the Beach Boys - again cos I am going to see him and he is the most talented schizophrenic I know of!
Am buying Daffs by the bucket load cos I love them.
Questions for this month.
1) So much good music about, why is none of it in the charts?
2) Jade Goody - good or bad?
3) Why have they given us 1 month of not knowing if we are ging to be made redundant, then expect us to work for another 2?
4) Why is council tax so blooming expensive?
5) Can anyone give me a tangible explanation for not shopping in Asda? Apart from I hate it?
6) IF someone does not want to marry you for the forseeable future, is this a bad sign?
7) What can I do to improve morale in a department that has none without looking like a brown noser or a pain in the rear?
8) Anyone got a recipe for shell on prawns?
9) How do you persuade someone that their footie team is not the best in world due to being in the Ryman league, losing 6-7 players due to non payment of wages, and a hostile share takover?
10) Waht do you get for a couple recently engaged and moved into a new house as a present?
