I...really, really wish I could say this is the first time a friend of mine has wound up the subject of a folktale or an urban legend. Goddamnit. Maybe if I'd been hadn't spent all of last year so crippled up I could hardly move, I'd have been able to do something...goddamnit ( Read more... )

I am reasonably available for talking, though I may have to slip a police escort or two.

Apparently, my own equine-related incident came close enough timing-wise to the unfortunate business of last year, so I have been assigned protection. Whether I want it or not.

So if anyone readin' this is in a class with me, don't ask the fella standing out in the hall wearing shades if he'd like a doughnut or make any "Anyone else smell pig" jokes, I have to put up with the man.
