Our old television packed up last week and I was faced with a bit of a dilemma - we had a perfectly servicable CRT television (like they used to have in "the olden days") and now it was time to join the 21st century and get a flatscreen. Been doing some more driving today, into town to pick up a new car seat for the goblin - the new one is huge, but it will be suitable until she's four... City centre was "fun"... roundabout-tastic and extremely busy... *shudders*

Just done the majority of our christmas and boxing day food shopping. In the car. At one in the morning.
Roads in were nice and clear, plenty of parking in The Shop of Evil Tescos, and because we were in the car we could load up with lots of things and stock up with staples

Went shopping round Broomhill yesterday, stopped into Record Collector (oops!) and then popped back to Gillian's for tea. Toddled up the hill to lord_mallory's birthday party and saw lots of people, and talked to glitterybint about allotments. I shall call the council tomorrow and see what they've got, as there's 5 of us interested now!
Realised with some horror earlier today that I didn't have a copy of Belle & Sebastian's "Tiger Milk". This is now fixed. Also bought "If You're Feeling Sinister" and David Bowie's "Scary Monsters" for good measure :)
Have just been out to do the last bits of shopping for Christmas dinner and our Boxing Day buffet - it has been blowing an absolute gale outside and it is getting colder. My normal hats would have blown away within seconds, however I was wearing my new blue fleece hat and it is un-blow-away-able :)
