Only the fact that there is urgent work to do, which only I know how to do, has prevented me from calling in sick today. My head hurts like a bastard and I have a sore throat and cough. Every time I cough my head lurches and the headache flares. I hate this - I wish I was in bed :(

After numerous people telling me I looked like crap yesterday (thanks guys) and people on lj saying I should take time off if I'm ill, I have decided to take a day off to de-grim.

So far today I have slept in and watched Buffy.

Not feeling quite so grim today, managed to eat some breakfast this morning without my stomach complaining too much. I was going to go to work today, but I didn't wake up until 10.30, so I phoned in sick... oops ( Read more... )

Miraculously, I am not hungover - hurrah! ...though I suspect hazyjayne might be, heh heh! Thanks for the happy new years call :)

I have been off work today with The Evil Goth Lurg... my sore throat has gone now but my sinuses and my nose have felt like they've been filled with concrete and I've been groggy all day. Blarg.

Well, I am currently nursing a particularly vile sore throat and am sat on the sofa with the lemsip. In that typically male way, I have a slight twinge and I am at Death's Door, the reaper himself just waiting to take me away... *handstapleforehead*

Somehow I have caught some evil gothlurg. Can germs be spread over the internet? I hope not :(
