When I'm sick I don't like to get my hair wet as it makes me sicker. I've been sick for about two weeks now.
Anyway, I had to get another bottle of Nightblooming's hair anointing oil, and decided to order a trial size of the Moondust herbal dry shampoo.
It was great! It worked pretty good. I don't have a brush, but it came out with combing. (I have a fine toothed comb.)
I had tried cornstarch, but that kinda' doesn't look right in my hair. I also tried cocoa powder, but that got really messy, and it wouldn't comb out right. (I had to wash my hair to get it all out.)
So I'm happy to have found a dry shampoo that works for me.

I don't have a brush, so I used a fine toothed horn comb to get it out. This dry shampoo did get some stuff stuck in the comb teeth, but I just washed the comb with an old toothbrush and the bits came out. I would say that I spent more than 15 minutes combing my hair, but not more than 30.
I'm not sure if it would have gone faster with a brush. (Perhaps this is a good excuse to get a brush?)
The time I had the best results with it was the night before/day of my mom's surgery. I put it on about 9 or 10 pm. The next morning she had to be at the hospital at 5 am. I went with uncombed hair, with the intention of combing my hair in the waiting room. She went in for surgery about 7:15 am. This "moondust" combed out fine, and I think it cleaned up pretty good.
