Good News, Everyone!
Had some former co-workers from Target come in to buy booze tonight. Talked briefly with them about who was still there and who wasn't. I miss those folks. They may have been lazy by comparison to the crew at 1476, but we got along well anyway.
They told me that Chris (the evil asshole logistics ETL that I loathed) and the new STL (the woman who blew her way to the top, the one that told me that it wasn't her problem if I couldn't get enough hours to pay my rent) were both gone now. Chris quit. Frankly, I'm surprised. I always thought he'd end up getting fired.
Chris was the one who blocked me from going back to the company in the first place. With him gone, I'd likely be able to be re-hired. I think I'm going to try, once it gets to be the BTS/BTC time again. Not sure if I'd ditch my current gig for it, or try to work them both concurrently. Though with how well a major change in my working life turned out last time, I'll probably try to keep both. Hell, even if they only hire me for seasonal, it'll be some extra money.
