Out of curiosity (and because there was a sale and I had a coupon) I picked up a 750 of the new Captain Morgan 100 proof.
I have to say, it's not bad. Not as sip-able as the regular, but it does have a nice creamy, almost caramel-like flavor to it that the regular 70-proof captain doesn't.
As you can see in the photo below, the color is significantly darker than the regular captain. It's actually closer in hue to Sailor Jerry (of which I'm also a fan).
