The week was... well, a week. Nothing special about it to differentiate it from the others in the recent past, I suppose. I closed with Mike on Tuesday night. Heather's usually the one who's stuck there with me, but that wasn't the case this time. Very quiet because of the hurricane Fay false alarm. Found a bottle of Cruzan dark with a cracked cap. Mike offered to sell it to me as damaged for $4 (normally it costs $9) otherwise he'd damage it out. I took him up on it, since the cap wasn't even cracked bad enough for it to leak. It's good stuff.
Went to the Salvation Army today to drop off some stuff I've been meaning to donate. Also did a little shopping for work clothes. It's really fucking impossible to find any khaki pants in my size, let alone shorts. Very annoying. I did however pick up a few polo shirts to wear to work, since the four red ones I have from my Target days are now each sporting giant gaping holes. That's Cherokee clothing for you... real quality stuff.
On the way out, I also snagged a giant martini glass. Five bucks is a little steep for an impulse buy, but it was just too damn cool to resist. I'll have a photo of that sometime tomorrow.
Running out of disk space on the server again. And terabyte drives are so cheap now... I hate being so goddamned poor.
