XP Go Boom!
Well, my XP install shat itself again. So, I know what I'll be doing for a large chunk of tomorrow. Yay.
In the meantime, I'm using the G4 as my main machine, as per the usual when the PC is out of comission.
I think I know what did it this time, but I'm powerless to fix the fucking thing, since it doesn't want to even boot into safe mode now. Words of wisdom: stay the bloody fuck away from "codec packs", especially if you already have a few codecs installed.
Also, my 2GB SD card was destroyed by the SD card reader I use on this machine (the G4). So, that's gone. And I think I'm going to toss the fucking card reader, since it's been nothing but problems (after I swap out the USB 2.0 card, since that could possibly be the issue as well).
Like I said, a full day tomorrow. Ugh.
