Yes, but why's the rum gone?

I had a dream last night that Jeremy was having his transplant, and I was in the hospital waiting for word on how it was going, and ashfae showed up, a bit frazzled, with some luggage, and said, "I've come to stay with you and help out!"

I was both thrilled to see her (and just as excited to be meeting her face-to-face as I would have been in real life) and worried about how we were going to deal with the luggage and accomodations. As I was trying to communicate this, she said, "Oh, no worries, I've got a place to stay and all my stuff is there-- these are presents for you and Jeremy. And I want to introduce you to some people, come on!"

She seemed to know everyone in the hospital, and kept leading me in and out of rooms and down corridors, introducing me to everyone on the fly, and I wasn't quite sure where we were going, but we finally fetched up in a little waiting room where she closed the door carefully and said, "Actually, I'm not just here to see you and Jeremy, although I'm thrilled to see you-- there's something weird going on at this hospital. Did you notice anything suspicious about anyone we just met?"

I said I hadn't really had a chance to observe anyone closely, and I didn't know anyone I'd just seen so I wouldn't know if they were behaving strangely for them, and she sighed and said, "True. Well, never mind that for just now. Look what I brought you!" and she started unloading her bags, which contained many things including Firefly DVDs, Muppet Show DVDs, Lord of the Rings DVDs, several pairs of multicolored pajamas and fuzzy bedroom slippers, a Playstation II and several games to go with it, a packet of digestive biscuits, a cast iron teapot with a molded firefly on it ("Firefly, get it?"), some Christmas crackers, and a lamb, which she plucked out of the bottom of the bag and set on its feet, whereupon it went "baa" and started nuzzling my ear. She said, "I thought you could shear it and learn to spin and make your own yarn for knitting! Wouldn't that be awesome? I had to bring it in my carry-on luggage because they wouldn't let me check it. Here, this is Chris's and my my favorite video game ever, let me show you how to play," and she started to do so, and we played the video game (which was based on Pirates of the Carribbean) and ate digestive biscuits and giggled until I woke up.
