Here is a little amuse-bouche of a poem for zalena and ashfae:

November

Like a glad lover, easily
The year lets fall her seven veils:
She smiles and turns and lets me see
Like a glad lover, easily
Naked without obscenity,
Her blossoms dead, her joy prevails.
Like a glad lover, easily
The year lets fall her seven veils.

I hereby kick off NaDefPosPoAbNovWriMo.

I can't believe you guys read the perfume stuff.

So I got thinking, what if I get Three Witches and LOVE it, and can never, never get any more because it goes away after December 1st? So I thought maybe two bottles of Three Witches instead of one. It would be my first duplicate bottle, but dammit, I love cinnamon, clove and white pepper-- how can this go wrong?

Then, musing sadly upon the subject of bottles I can never, never get any more of, I reflected that my LE bottle of House of Mirrors (geddit? mirrors? reflected?) is basically Sea of Glass with a bit of warm amber backing, and I decided that I don't really need to get Sea of Glass until House of Mirrors runs out. Plus, they are both kind of cool, summery scents, and it got really cold today, and I'm not really in the mood for cool scents any more. Whereas any scent description that starts out with the word "Warm" ("Warm cinnamon, husky clove and white pepper") has me from the get-go.

So I removed Sea of Glass, took out the bottle of The Great Sword of War and added it to the imp list instead, and added another bottle of Three Witches. Now I've got a $70.00 cart-- two Three Witcheses (Six Witches?), Medea and seven imps, plus shipping. (I tried to knock one of the Muses off the list to keep it an even six imps, but as I reread the descriptions to decide which one to remove, I kept wanting to add more ("maybe this honey will work on me, and I love comedy, and--- AIEEE! NO! NO MORE MUSES!") so I just ran away.

The gingerbread lattes and peppermint mochas are back at Starbucks. I approve.
